Ceremonial version of the Canadian Royal Navy Commissioned Officer sword and scabbard. Made according to the British MOD specification.
In November 2005, WKC has taken over many tools of Wilkinson Sword Ltd. for production of various ceremonial swords.
This sword is a special order item. Delivery may take 3+ months due to the production queue and Canadian customs. A customs document preparation fee of $30 will be added to the shipping costs.
- Blade:
- Stainless steel blade with one groove on each side. Forged, well-tempered, hand-polished, hardness ca. 48-52° HRC Rockwell.
- Manually acid etched, so deep, that one can feel it with a fingernail.
- Length of the blade is ca. 810 mm.
- Guard:
- Embossed brass guard with anchor, Canada and crown, hand-polished, 24-carat goldplated.
- Grip:
- Real sting-ray skin-covered handle, wrapped with three goldplated silver wires.
- Scabbard:
- Real rawhide leather scabbard, hand-sewn with 24 carat- goldplated brass mountings with 2 rings.
