Army Saber Guard

Leather saber guard for the Army Officer Saber

Features:

The saber guard is for use only with the Army Officer Saber. The saber guard, the saber chain, and one of the two types of saber belts are mandatory accessories if one wishes to wear the Army Saber.

A thinner and "cleaner" alternative to the Saber Guard is the Army Saber Dress Strap, modeled after the strap used by the Old Guard. Because the Dress Strap is thinner than the Saber Guard, it does put some additional strain on the ceremonial saber belt.
